STRIDHS produces a wide range of machines for the casing industry and has done so since it was founded in 1926 by Mr. Harry Stridh in Sweden.

In spring 2002, AB STRIDHS MASKINER, directed by Mr. Martin Svensson, bought the German Company Drechsel GmbH, specialized in equipment for measuring and tubing of natural casings, moving the factory to Gothenburg.

In spring 2014, Stridhs – Drechsel was acquired by Mecanicas Garrotxa, S.A.
The production, the maintenance and spare parts services were moved to our headquarters in Olot (North of Spain). Mr. M. Svensson continues as an assessor and commercial director with an office in Gothenburg.

Our lines and machines are the result of many years of experience and know-how in casing industry. The machines are designed to fulfill the highest demands on an optimal product: excellent hygienic, low noise, easy repairs and a first class cleaned casing at minimum of cost in terms of water consumption and manpower.

Stridhs products for the casing industry are world-wide renowned. This means that our technical office, sales and service departments, fulfill the highest standards.
